OUR MISSION
The Friends of the Tunnel Hill State Trail is dedicated to the preservation, enhancement, and promotion of the 45-mile Tunnel Hill State Trail. Through volunteer efforts, community engagement, and collaboration with the Illinois Department of Natural Resources, we aim to ensure that this scenic, historical trail remains accessible and sustainable for future generations to enjoy. Our mission is to inspire outdoor recreation, protect the natural and cultural resources of the trail, and foster a sense of community among trail users and supporters.
